Chicken Out Closes at Bradlee Shopping Center

Chicken Out at Bradlee Shopping Center recently closed to make way for a new chain.

Work is underway to open a Zöes Kitchen in the vacant storefront, located at 3644 King St. next to Atlantis Pizzeria and Family Restaurant.

The Alabama-based chain specializes in Mediterranean-inspired food made with fresh ingredients, including pita sandwiches and salads. Zöes Kitchen currently has Northern Virginia locations in Arlington, Fairfax, Reston and Woodbridge.

Chicken Out, a Gaithersburg, Md.-based restaurant chain, closed its S. Washington Street location in late May.
