Food Delivery Driver Robbed at Gunpoint on Edsall Road: Police
Fairfax County Police report the driver was robbed early Thursday by a man with a gun.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint on Edsall Road early Thursday, according to Fairfax County Police. Police say the incident happened just before 1 a.m. Thursday in the 6400 block of Edsall Road in the Alexandria area (see map below).
Police responded to a report of the alleged robbery of a delivery driver. The delivery company was contacted by a man who ordered food and once the delivery driver arrived, he was flagged down by a man who then displayed a handgun, took food and cash and fled the area.
The suspect was described as black, 20-30 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet, medium length dreads, black baseball cap, black T-shirt and black pants, according to police.
