Fun Dog Show in Market Square Kicks Off St. Patrick's Day Parade

This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Old Town begins with the Fun Dog Show competition benefitting Lucky Dog Animal Rescue.

Katy Nelson, who hosts television show “The Pet Show with Dr. Katy,” will act as master of ceremonies and judge.

The March 2 competition features categories such as “Dog with the Waggiest Tail” and “Dog/Owner Look-Alike” as well as “Most Irish Looking Dog.”

After the 10:30 a.m. dog show in Market Square, the pups will lead the St. Patrick’s Day parade along King Street.
