McDonald's Shooting In Alexandria Prompts Arrest: Police

Alexandria Police have made an arrest in a late December shooting at a McDonald's with one injury.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — After a Dec. 27 shooting with one injury at a McDonald's, Alexandria Police have announced an arrest.

The shooting happened at the 5311 Duke Street McDonald's in the West End. The incident was initially reported as a fight between two people, but it escalated when one shot the other. The injured man had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital.

Police arrested Michael Anthony Carr, Jr., 20, of Alexandria, and charged him with robbery, malicious wounding, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
