Police Pursuing Suspect Near Alexandria Park Thursday Afternoon
The Alexandria Police Department says it is assisting Virginia State Police; Fairfax County helicopter is also helping in search.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The Alexandria Police Department said Thursday afternoon it is assisting Virginia State Police in Cameron Station/Armistead Boothe Park area for a foot pursuit.
Police sent out the alert shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday.
Virginia State Police has requested the Fairfax County Police Department helicopter for assistance. The Alexandria Police Department is assisting and is not the primary agency investigating this incident, Alexandria Police said.
