Police Reports: Gunpoint Robbery, Other Incidents

June 14

8:25 a.m., 100 block of South Reynolds Street, a person reported someone stole his company van from a hotel parking lot overnight.

3:59 p.m., 5300 block of Holmes Run Parkway, a person reported someone stole her purse containing credit cards, driver's license, cash, and a cell phone, after she inadvertently left the purse unattended in the boiler room at this location.

June 15

4300 block of Taney Avenue, a person was ambushed by three unknown subjects who robbed him at gunpoint of his phone, iPod and cash. The case is still under investigation.

June 16

12:40 a.m., 4500 block of King Street, a person reported several suspects were breaking into an SUV parked in the apartment complex parking lot and allegedly stole a GPS unit and charger.

12:49 p.m., 4300 block of Raleigh Avenue, a person reported unknown suspect/s stole her recently purchased motorcycle that was parked and chained to a stop sign in front of her apartment building.

June 17

12:28 p.m., Fillmore Avenue at North Beauregard Street, an unknown suspect entered a person’s locked vehicle and stole a driver’s license and a GPS unit while the vehicle was parked on the street.

8:24 p.m., 5000 block of Seminary Road, A person was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and reportedly assaulting a hotel employee.

June 18

2:04 p.m., 4600 block of Duke Street, a person reported a vehicle was stolen.

June 19

6 p.m., 4700 block of Kenmore Avenue, a person reported that someone stole his secured motorcycle from a parking lot.

June 21

5:38 a.m., 200 block of North Pickett Street, a person reported a robbery.
