Police Reports: Motor Vehicle Thefts, Larcenies and Other Crimes

The City of Alexandria Police Department reported the following crimes in the West End of Alexandria between in the past several days.

Note: The addresses listed below indicates blocks and not specific addresses of incidents. Where an arrest is mentioned, it does not necessarily indicate a conviction.

9:15 am. Feb. 14, 4200 block of Duke Street - A person reported an unknown suspect entered her apartment by prying the door open, but nothing was taken.

8:33 a.m. Feb. 15, 3800 block of W. Braddock Road - A larceny occured.

8 a.m. Feb. 15, 3700 block of N. Howard Street - A vandalism/destruction of property occured and a larceny occured.

9:36 p.m. Feb. 16, 4800 block of Kenmore Avenue - An assault occured.

1:11 p.m. Feb. 16, S. Floyd Street - A fraud occured.

7:46 a.m. Feb. 16, 3500 Duke Street - A motor vehicle theft occured.

7:51 p.m., Feb. 16, 3200 S. Van Dorn Street - A fraud occured.

5:12 p.m. Feb. 16, 5800 block of Duke Street - A motor vehicle theft occured.

4:15 a.m. Feb. 16, 3200 S. Whiting Street - An assault occured. 

1:26 p.m. Feb. 17, S. Van Dorn Street - An assault occured.
