Robbery at Gunpoint Friday Afternoon in Alexandria: Police
Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Friday in the West End (see map below).
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Police report an armed robbery took place Friday afternoon in the West End of the City.
The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the robbery in the 6200 block of Edsall Road (see map below). The suspect brandished a gun during the robbery and stole items -- police did not say if it was a commercial robbery or if it was a victim on the street. There were no injuries, police said. Expect police activity in the area.
Police did not release a description of the suspect.
