Shooting Injures 1 Person In West End Alexandria

Alexandria Police have not announced any arrests in a shooting involving one victim Saturday.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — One person was injured in a shooting in West End Alexandria Saturday, according to police.

Alexandria Police responded to a shots fired report around 10:26 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of North Armistead Street. The 32-year-old male victim was found with an apparent upper body gunshot wound. Police provided aid until medics arrived, and the victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

An arrest or suspect information was not announced by police. The investigation remains active.
