Photo Of Suspect In Dale City Fatal Shooting Released By Police
Two men were shot and killed late Friday morning inside a Dale City home where contractors were doing work, according to police.

DALE CITY, VA — Two men were shot and killed late Friday morning inside a Dale City home where contractors were doing work, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Police went to the house in the 14100 block of Renegade Court in Dale City around 11:30 a.m. Friday to investigate the shooting. They found the two men with gunshot wounds.
Police officers attempted first aid on both men, who later died at the scene.

According to the Prince William County police, two men forced their way into the home, where a shooting occurred between them and an adult male resident of the home. One of the suspects and the resident of the home were shot and killed. The second suspect fled the home, according to police.
On Saturday, the Prince William County police identified the two men who were killed as Joseph James Harden, 20, who lived at the home, and Zhabriell Antoine Perkins, 20, of Woodbridge, who was one of the suspects who forced their way into the home.

The other suspect fled on foot to a vehicle described as a black 2014 Jeep Cherokee, with a silver trim package and Virginia temporary license plate 98254K. The suspect and the Jeep Cherokee have not been located, the police said.

Police described the suspect who fled the scene as a Black male, about 6-feet, 3-inches tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a stripe on the sleeve and black pants.
The police released a photo of the suspect and the Jeep Cherokee.
Also inside the home at the time of the shooting were two men working on the home and the homeowner, a 59-year-old woman, the police said.
One of the men who was working on the home also was shot. The worker was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a minor injury. The other worker and the homeowner were not injured.
The incident does not appear to be random, the police said.
