Abduction Of Juveniles To Stafford Hotel Leads To Woodbridge Man's Arrest
Two juveniles who the suspect picked up in Baltimore led law enforcement to the hotel room they were taken to, the sheriff's office said.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two juveniles escaped a kidnapping attempt in Stafford County Wednesday, leading the sheriff's office to arrest and charge a Woodbridge man.
Around 6:54 a.m. Wednesday, sheriff's deputies responded to the Mine Road Commuter Lot after two juveniles flagged down an off-duty officer and claimed they were kidnapped. Deputies made contact with the juveniles, one of which had been reported as missing, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
The juveniles led sheriff's deputies to the Quality Inn and Suites Quantico at 28 Greenspring Drive in Stafford, where they showed a room where they were being held. That prompted sheriff's deputies to detain a man and begin an investigation.
