Arlington's Amazon Negotiator Headed To Prince William County
Christina M. Winn has been announced as Prince William County's new economic development director. She helped lure Amazon to Arlington.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA—One of the people who spearheaded Arlington's successful efforts in luring Amazon to the city is bringing her talents to the county. Christina M. Winn was announced Wednesday, June 19, as Prince William County's new economic development director. She replaces Jeff Kaczmarek, who retired after a six-year run.
"Ms. Winn knows Northern Virginia and has proven her ability to attract and retain businesses here," Corey A. Stewart, chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, said in a statement. "She led the business investment team that brought Amazon HQ2, Nestlé US headquarters and Lidl US headquarters to Arlington. She has experience building a program and addressing economic needs of a community."
According to the Washington Business Journal, Winn, who recently was named "Economic Developer of the Year" by the Site Selectors Guild for her Amazon work, helped coin the phrase "National Landing" to describe the company's new Crystal City home.
