Armed Restaurant Robber Sought In Dumfries: Police

DUMFRIES, VA—Authorities are looking for a man who robbed the Wing Guys restaurant at gunpoint early Friday night at 18017 Dumfries Shopping Center, according to Prince William County Police. He's described as black, 5-10, 160 pounds with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white horizontal line across the chest, blue jeans and black and white striped shoes.

Shortly after 6 p.m., police went to the business for a reported robbery. An employee said an unknown man with a handgun walked in and demanded money. He forced the worker to open the cash register, took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.

A K-9 unit searched the area to no avail. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
