Murder Victim Identified In Woodbridge: UPDATE

UPDATE: A man's body found Monday morning in Woodbridge has been identified, and Prince William County Police say he was murdered.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man's body found Monday morning, April 29, in the area of Minnieville Road and Alps Drive has been identified, and his death is being treated as a murder, according to Prince William County Police. Detectives identified him as Angelo Kadro Blakeney, 23, of Washington, D.C.

At 6:41 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported body found in the woods by a citizen. Following an autopsy and the preliminary investigation into Blakeney's death, police came to the conclusion he was murdered.

Blakeney has no known ties to the Prince William County area. Anyone with information is urged to call the Prince William County Police tip line at 703-792-7000.
