Cocaine Found In Baby's Crib In Dumfries: Police
A woman was arrested after a bag of cocaine was found in a crib beside a toddler at a home in Dumfries, say Prince William County Police.

DUMFRIES, VA—A woman was arrested Tuesday after a bag of cocaine was found in a crib beside a toddler at a home in the 17200 block of Wexford Loop, according to Prince William County Police. Aisha Tierra Sherman, 34, of the aforementioned address, was charged with felony child neglect/abuse and possession of a scheduled I or II narcotic.
Police began an investigation following a drug complaint, and went to the home to "execute a search warrant." Among other things, they found a bag of suspected cocaine in a crib next to where a 5-month-old girl was lying. Police also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Another woman in the home was arrested on unrelated charges. The baby was not injured.
