Driver Dies After Single-Vehicle Crash In Dumfries: Police

Prince William County Police believe a medical emergency led to a crash with multiple trees struck.

DUMFRIES, VA — A driver died two days after a crash in Dumfries last Friday, according to Prince William County Police.

Around 7:41 p.m. on July 18, officers responded to a crash on Four Seasons Drive near Dumfries Road in Dumfries. Police say a 2011 Toyota Highlander heading west on Four Seasons Drive veered to the left and left the roadway. The vehicle continued onto the median and struck multiple trees.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to the hospital and died on July 20. She was identified as Diedra Adare White, 60, of Dumfries. There were no other vehicles involved or occupants in the Toyota.
