Endangered Woodbridge Teen Found Safe In Louisiana: UPDATE

UPDATE: Authorities have an endangered teen girl safe in Louisiana, Prince William County Police said Wednesday.

UPDATE: Gomez has been found safe in Louisiana by authorities there, PWC Police announced Wednesday morning.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Authorities believe an endangered teen girl not seen since Dec. 26 of last year may be in the Jefferson Parish area of Louisiana, Prince William County Police said Tuesday. Heycer "Natalie" Jimenez Gomez, 14, of the 1900 block of Old Post Terrace, is described as Hispanic, 4-8, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She often wears a blue and white necklace.

Initially reported missing on Dec. 27, 2018, Gomez voluntarily left her residence sometime between the evening hours of Dec. 26 and the early morning hours of Dec. 27. Police have since found that Gomez likely has continued to have contact with family members and other acquaintances since she's been missing.
