Family Dog Shot By Arrow In Woodbridge Backyard: Police
Authorities are looking for a suspect who fired an arrow into a Woodbridge backyard, striking a family's home and their dog.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Somebody fired multiple arrows into a Woodbridge backyard on Wednesday, striking a dog. The Prince William County Police Department said arrows also struck the back of the home and a neighboring property.
The dog, a Yorkshire-Terrier mix, was taken to an emergency veterinarian. The dog's injuries are not life-threatening, authorities said.
Investigators have not identified any suspects in connection with the incident.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at a home in the 12700 block of Dulcinea Place in Woodbridge. Police officers said family members were in the backyard when an arrow hit their dog. Authorities did not say where the arrow came from.
During their investigation, officers learned that two other arrows struck the back of the home between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. An arrow also hit the back of a neighboring home while a 23-year-old woman was in the backyard. She was not injured, according to the police report.
