Father Arrested After Assaulting Young Sons In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was arrested Friday, March 15, after being found to have assaulted his two young sons the previous day at a home in the 3000 block of Ridge View Court, according to Prince William County Police. Kevin Venard Evans, 27, of the aforementioned address, was charged with child abuse and domestic assault and battery.

Shortly after 4 p.m., police and Child Protective Services responded to an apartment for a reported domestic incident. They found the boys, ages 6 and 7, had been assaulted by a parent—Evans—following an argument. One of the victims had reported the incident to staffers at his school, prompting the investigation.
