Jailed Man Arrested For Pizza Hut Robbery In Woodbridge: Police
A man already in jail for a string of robberies in Dumfries was arrested for the Dec. 10 armed robbery of a Pizza Hut in Woodbridge: Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man already in jail for a string of robberies in Dumfries was arrested Thursday for the Dec. 10 armed robbery of a Pizza Hut at 4101 Dale Boulevard, according to Prince William County Police. Michael Lorenzo Newman, 21, of no fixed address, was charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
Shortly after 2 p.m. on Dec. 10, police went to the restaurant for a reported robbery. An employee said two unknown men entered the business and approached the counter. One of them whipped out a gun and demanded money. They took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing. Forensic evidence taken from the scene led police to Newman, who had been in jail since Dec. 17 for the Dumfries robberies.
In those, Dumfries Police were proactively patrolling Dumfries Shopping Plaza when they saw two suspicious men who appeared to be casing a business in the shopping center. They matched the descriptions of suspects in the robberies of Wings Guys on Dec. 14 and Metro PCS on Nov. 28.

Police from both Prince William County and Dumfries approached them then and arrested them without incident. Not only that, but they both were armed with stolen handguns. Besides Newman, Joshean Darnell Stokes, 18, of the 1600 block of Fort Fisher Court in Dumfries, also was arrested.
