Daniel L. Everette was sentenced to 38 years in prison for the murder of his estranged wife, according to an article on InsideNova.com

Everette's wife, Alice Jenkins Everette, was in the drive-thru on the morning of Feb. 17, 2011 , court records show. Alice died from her injuries at the scene. 

Daniel Everette was arrested and charged with murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony after Prince William County police took him into custody on Feb. 17, 2011.
