Man Pepper-Sprayed During Ambush In Woodbridge: Police

Authorities are looking for two unknown men who assaulted a man with pepper spray and then tried to rob him in Woodbridge, say PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Authorities are looking for two unknown men who assaulted a man with pepper spray and then tried to rob him late Saturday afternoon in the 15700 block of Blackburn Road, according to Prince William County Police.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m., police responded to the scene for a reported robbery. A 35=year-old man said he had just gotten out of his vehicle when he was approached by two strangers. They asked him for directions before blasting him with pepper spray and attempting to take his belongings.

He then ran to a nearby business and contacted police. The two men fled before officers arrived. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
