Man Shot In Face In Woodbridge: Police

Authorities are looking an unknown man who shot a 22-year-old man in the face Saturday night in Woodbridge: Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Authorities are looking an unknown man who shot a 22-year-old man in the face early Saturday night in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Maryland Avenue, according to Prince William County Police. The victim was flown to an area hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.

Around 7:15 p.m., police responded to the area for a reported shooting. They found that the victim made arrangements to meet two unknown men in the aforementioned area for undisclosed reasons. During the meeting, one of the men whipped out a handgun and shot the victim in the face. The victim ran to a nearby business and contacted police.

A police K-9 unit searched the area to no avail. The incident, according to police, doesn't appear to be random. Anyone with information is urged to call authorities at 703-792-6500.
