Man Sought For Raping 11-Year-Old In Woodbridge Arrested: Police
A man accused of raping an 11-year-old family member in Woodbridge was arrested Tuesday in the Richmond area by U.S. Marshals: PWC Police.
WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man accused of raping an 11-year-old family member April 20 at a home in the 12100 block of Old Salem Court was arrested in the Richmond area Tuesday, April 20, by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, according to Prince William County Police. Tanes Omar Torres-Romero, 31, of Woodbridge, was charged with rape and aggravated sexual battery.
Shortly before 3 a.m. on Apriil 20, police arrived at the home for a reported rape. They found that a girl had been sexually assaulted by Torres-Romero, who was confronted by the girl's mother before fleeing. Efforts to find him had been unsuccessful.
