Man Strangles Woman In Woodbridge: Police
A man was arrested after strangling a woman while driving to a home in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was arrested early Wednesday, May 1, after strangling a woman while driving to a home in the 15000 block of Alaska Road, according to Prince William County Police. Blake Alexander McGuire, 20, of the same address, was charged with strangulation.
Around 2:45 a.m., police arrived at the scene for a reported domestic assault. A 20-year-old woman said she and McGuire—an acquaintance—had been in Fairfax County and were driving back to the aforementioned area when they were involved in an argument that escalated. McGuire then hit her and grabbed her with one hand and began choking her.
After arriving at the home, other people there saw she was extremely upset—enough so that they contacted police, and McGuire was arrested shortly thereafter. Minor injuries were reported.
