Naked Man Strangles Family, Assaults Cops In Woodbridge: Police

A naked man was arrested early Friday after strangling two family members and then assaulting police in Woodbridge, say PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A naked man was arrested early Friday after strangling two family members and then assaulting police outside a home in the 14000 block of Rockinghorse Drive, according to Prince William County Police.

Tuan Thanh Do, 32, of the aforementioned address, was charged with one count of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, one count of strangulation, two counts of abduction, one count of domestic assault and battery, one count of disorderly conduct, one count of indecent exposure, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of resisting arrest.

Around 4 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported suspicious person. They found that a man and a woman had been involved in an argument with Do that escalated. The victims were assaulted and then strangled before eventually fleeing to a neighbor's home, where they contacted authorities.

Sans any clothing, Do left the residence and ran smack dab into responding officers. When they tried to detain him, he refused to obey their commands. A struggle ensued, after which they finally were able to arrest him. The two victims and police suffered minor injuries, as did Do, who refused treatment.
