Cole Jr., has pleaded not guilty to federal charges that he planted pipe bombs outside the Democratic and Republican national party headquarters in Washington, D.C., before the Jan. 6, 2021 riot. Cole, who allegedly told investigators he wanted to “speak up” for people claiming the 2020 election was stolen, faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
   

2. Maryland Women's Soccer Welcomes Five Transfers (umterps.com) — A Woodbridge native, midfielder Aryanna Oliver, is transferring from Radford University to join the University of Maryland women’s soccer team after an award-winning freshman season. She’s one of five experienced transfers expected to strengthen Maryland’s 2026 roster, bringing all-conference honors and national youth experience to a Big Ten program close to home.
