DUMFRIES, VA—Might you have a gripe with the police? Is something in your neighborhood causing concern? Have you ever wondered why, exactly, police do this or that? Then head out to Dumfries Elementary School 7 p.m. Thursday night, May 9, at 3990 Cameron Street for the latest "Conversation with the Chief."

Prince William County police chief Barry Barnard we be on hand to "answer questions and discuss any topics of concern from residents," the department said in a release. Barnard has been with the department since 1976, and became chief in June 2016 after the retirement of Steve Hudson.
