Salvation Army Opening Larger Thrift Store In Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A Salvation Army thrift store is returning to Woodbridge with a grand opening planned Saturday.

The thrift store will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27. According to the charity, the thrift store will be in a larger location at 13550 Richmond Highway, Woodbridge, VA. Shoppers are encouraged to arrive early.

Initial hours at the location will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Check with the store to find out how to donate items.

Salvation Army thrift stores support the charity's alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers. The community can donate items like clothing, furniture, electronics, home goods and more to the thrift stores. Other causes supported by the Salvation Army are veterans services, services for aging adults, solutions for human trafficking, holiday season assistance, food pantries, homeless shelters, youth summer camps and after-school programs, disaster relief, support for domestic violence victims, job training, spiritual healing and more.
