WOODBRIDGE, VA—Authorities are looking for an unknown man who threatened an employee with a gun Sunday afternoon, June 30, after being confronted for shoplifting in the Target at 2460 Prince William Parkway, according to Prince William County Police. He's described as around 18-23 years old with short black hair and glasses, and was wearing a gray shirt, black shorts, white sneakers and carrying a black backpack.

Around 2:45 p.m., police responded to the store for a reported robbery. They found that an unknown man tried to leave the store with items he hadn't paid for before being confronted by a loss prevention officer. He then resisted before dropping the items and walking out of the store.

But video surveillance showed that he then took a pistol from his backpack and re-entered the store, after which he pointed it toward the loss prevention officer. He then picked up the items he had intentionally dropped and fled on foot toward Telegraph Road.
