Teen Sentenced to 44 Years for Killing Woodbridge Student

A 19-year-old Richmond man has been sentenced to 44 years in prison in connection with the fatal shooting of a Virginia Union University student from Woodbridge.
Willie Daquan Lee was sentenced Friday for the Feb. 23 shooting of 20-year-old Kahron M. Lee of Woodbridge. The two are not related.
Kahron Lee was returning to his apartment following a late-night study session when he encountered Willie Lee, who reportedly demanded his Nike Air Jordan shoes. Willie Lee then shot Kahron in the back as he attempted to flee, according to The Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Willie Lee pleaded guilty in June to first-degree murder, robbery and two felony firearms counts.
