Tickets Available for 'Give Back 2 Others' Holiday Gala Nov. 21

Give Back 2 Others, a nonprofit dedicated to financially assisting individuals and families facing life-threatening illnesses, is hosting its 2014 Holiday Gala Friday, Nov. 21 at Harbour View in Woodbridge.

Proceeds from the gala’s ticket sales, silent auction and donations will go toward helping Isla Kate, a local child diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma (a rare pediatric cancer affecting the nervous system).

Give Back 2 Others will help Isla’s family with their financial needs. The organization became a registered nonprofit Aug. 20, pending 501-C3 approval from the IRS.

The gala kicks off Friday, Nov. 21 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Harbour View, 13200 Marina Drive, in Woodbridge.

A $75 ticket comes with access to an open bar, food, a DJ and a silent auction. Individuals or businesses that wish to donate to the silent auction are encouraged to contact Holly Andrzejewski at Holly@giveback2others.com. The event is open to adults only. Cocktail-style attire is mandatory.

Hotel rooms for the event are available through Hampton Inn Potomac Mills $99 per night and include free shuttle service to and from the event starting at 6:30 p.m. until midnight.
