VA Election: Early Voting Ends Oct. 30 In Woodbridge, Dumfries

As the Nov. 2 election approaches, in-person early voting will be available through the end of the week at locations in Prince William.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — With Virginia's Nov. 2 general election less than a week away, in-person early voting will be available through the end of the week at several Prince William County sites.

Woodbridge area voters can vote at the Dumfries Community Center through Oct. 30. Residents in the eastern part of the county can also opt to vote at the Department of Motor Vehicle's Woodbridge Customer Service Center and Elections Office. Both of these sites will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day until Saturday, Oct. 30

To vote in person, an acceptable form of ID is required to vote in person, but it is no longer required to be a photo ID. Examples of accepted ID include a Virginia driver's license, DMV-issued ID, U.S. passport, current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck and more.
Those who are voting by mail must return the mail-in ballot by 5 p.m. on Nov. 2, Election Day, in person or have it postmarked by Nov. 2 and received by noon on Nov. 5. As an alternative to mail, ballots can be dropped off at a drop box at any early voting site during voting hours or at any polling place during voting hours on Nov. 2. The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail was Oct. 22.

Those voting in person on Election Day can visit their polling place on Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters in line by 7 p.m. will be able to vote. Check your polling place on the Virginia Department of Elections online portal or see precinct maps from the Prince William County Office of Elections.

Prince William County voters will be deciding races for Virginia governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, and Virginia House of Delegates. The Virginia House of Delegates race on the ballot will depend on which district you live in.
