Wawa To Open Newest Prince William County Location, Grand Opening With Freebies Planned
Freebies and a grand opening celebration are planned for the newest Wawa convenience store in Prince William County.

DUMFRIES, VA — Wawa make its debut in Dumfries, marking the opening of the convenience store chain's newest Prince William County location.
The grand opening of the location at 3600 Pointe Center Court in Dumfries will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4 At 7:45 a.m., Wawa General Manager Cala Robinson will count down until the 8 a.m. opening. The first 100 customers will receive free T-shirts as supplies last.
A ribbon cutting with the new store team and mascot Wally Goose will follow at 8:30 a.m. Other festivities include a parade of "Craving Tamers" Wawa associates, the $5 Big Breakfast Deal campaign, and the Hoagies for Heroes competition between first responders.

The location will also offer a free any size hot coffee through Sept. 7. All Wawa locations, including others in Prince William County, will have the $5 Big Breakfast Deal from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. through Sept. 7.
Wawa is a Pennsylvania-founded convenience store chain that has gained a dedicated base of followers. While this will be the first Wawa location in Dumfries, there are other locations along the Interstate 95 corridor to the north in Woodbridge and to the south in Stafford.
