Woman Stabs Family Member In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A woman was arrested Tuesday, April 28, after stabbing a family member during an argument at an apartment in the 4600 block of Daisy Reid Avenue, according to Prince William County Police. Star Summerville, 23, of the aforementioned address, was charged with malicious wounding and was held without bond.

Shortly after 2:30p.m., police responded to the scene for a reported domestic assault. A 38-year-old man said he and Summerville were in an argument that escalated, during which she grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the leg. She then fled to a nearby office, where staff members contacted police. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
