WOODBRIDGE, VA — Woodbridge High School's boys cross country built on its first state championship since 1990 last year with a win once again.

The high school's boys cross country team won back-to-back Class 6 State Championships. The school has nine boys' cross country titles in its history, second to only Blacksburg with its 12 titles.

"The 2024 season focus began at the conclusion of our state championship win in 2023," said Head Coach Kelly McGreal via a PWCS news release. "Knowing we would return with a strong group of racers set the stage for a repeat win. These boys are well-trained and know exactly what is expected of them. They’ve gained the confidence to execute their training flawlessly, which has been a huge part of our success."
