Woodbridge Man Climbs Roller Coaster At VA Amusement Park: Report

WILLIAMSBURG, VA — A Woodbridge man is facing a trespassing charge after climbing a roller coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, according to reports.

The Virginian-Pilot said Charles Parker, 18, of Woodbridge, was trying to get his cell phone when he climbed on the Tempesto launch coaster Sunday night. The James City County Fire Department responded to rescue Parker when he partially climbed up and got stranded. There were no reported injuries.

The park is still typically open when the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
