Tilman Dunbar of Woodbridge, a senior at Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, recently signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at the Naval Academy. A point guard, Dunbar was named Defensive Player of the Year for Paul VI last year. Dunbar was also named All Conference Honorable Mention in his sophomore and junior years. On his AAU team, Team Takeover, Dunbar serves as captain and was named MVP. Dunbar volunteers with Study Buddies, Special Olympics and community basketball clinics. Tilman is the son of Bindu and Tilman Dunbar Jr.
