The WSHS Homecoming Parade is Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. and may cause traffic delays as it crosses Old Bridge Road between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., VDOT representative Art Klos said.
"The parade will start on Deepford Drive, proceed on Antietam Road, then cross over Old Bridge Road into the student parking lot of the High School. The crossing of Old Bridge Road is planned to be completed by 5 p.m.," Klos said. "The parade will be broken into segments with intermittent crossings to avoid traffic delays on Old Bridge Road."
PWC Police will provide traffic control.

Occoquan District Supervisor also noted that some minor delays are possible, "especially if you are driving westbound on Old Bridge prior to 5 p.m. or if you live along or near the parade route. The students will be crossing Old Bridge in segments as opposed to crossing all at once-but the crossings could also impact conditions since the pedestrian signals will be utilized multiple times."
