Battle Ground moves comprehensive plan forward with Dollars Corner expansion (thereflector.com) — Battle Ground’s city council has advanced a draft 2045 comprehensive plan that would shift its urban growth area away from Meadow Glade and toward a major expansion into Dollars Corner, opening space for thousands of new jobs. Final adoption must wait for Clark County’s delayed plan, but residents should expect more outreach in 2026 as annexation and zoning decisions take shape.

Girls Prep Wrestling Roundup: Multiple Twin Harbors prep teams open season at weekend tournaments (bellinghamherald.com) — Twin Harbors girls wrestling teams opened their seasons with strong showings at several tournaments, highlighted by multiple individual titles and a runner-up team finish for Montesano. Battle Ground’s McKenna McComb reached the 100-pound final at the Wyatt Draper Memorial in Ridgefield, where she fell by quick pin to champion Ashley Ihde.
