American Idol Contestant Stefano Langone Slated for Bellevue College Guest Appearance with His Former Student Vocal Group
The American Idol contestant will make an appearance with the Bellevue College jazz ensemble that he joined in college.
American Idol’s Stefano Langone, a alumni, is scheduled to make a guest appearance at a benefit concert for the college's vocal performing students on Saturday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m.
The Kent resident made it to the top 7 in this year's American Idol, which has its season finale tonight (Wednesday May 25).
The concert will feature BC's vocal jazz ensemble Celebration, which had Langone as a member between 2007 and 2010.

During his time at Bellevue College, he was a standout among college performers, said college performing arts coordinator Lyneen K. Patnoe.
"His personality, his charisma -- he oozes it. And he has a fantastic voice," she said. "I was sure was going to go on to do something great."

"We're excited to have him back in the fold, so to speak," Patnoe said.
The Bellevue concert provides a unique opportunity for fans to catch Langone, since he is dividing his time between Los Angeles and New York, preparing for the summer Idol tour, according to the press release.
Tickets are $20 for the general public at www.brownpapertickets.com (direct link here) or the Bellevue College Business Center in the BC Student Union. The college benefits vocal music scholarships at Bellevue College.
