Bellevue Man Pleads Not Guilty in Crossroads Fatal Hit and Run
Fikret Manashirov, 49, is accused of a fatal hit and run in Bellevue on March 25 that killed Marina Kristalinskaia, 77, of Bellevue, as she crossed NE 8th Street in the middle of the 16100 block.

A Bellevue man pleaded not guilty Tuesday morning to the charge of felony hit and run in connection with striking a 77-year-old pedestrian last month in the Crossroads neighborhood, according to the King County prosecuting attorney's office.
Fikret Manashirov, 49, is accused of a fatal hit and run in Bellevue on March 25 that killed Marina Kristalinskaia, 77, of Bellevue, as she crossed NE 8th Street from south to north in the middle of the 16100 block around 8:20 p.m. March 25.
Kristalinskaia was a retired engineer and musician originally from St. Petersburg, Russia.

Witnesses in another car came upon a stopped silver Lincoln Town Car near where Kristalinskaia was struck, according to a police report. The Town Car drove away through a parking lot, and the other car followed and got a partial license plate, according to the court papers.
Police immediately released a description of the car, and the next day a neighbor reported that the Town Car could have been one that was normally parked at an address near the corner of NE 13th Street and NE 165th Avenue, according to police. Police reported finding a silver Lincoln Town Car with damage that looked like it could have been caused by a collision with a pedestrian, and Manashirov told officers that he had been behind the wheel when the car struck Kristalinskaia, according to the police report.

Manashirov's next scheduled case setting hearing is on April 25 at 1 p.m. at the King County Courthouse, courtroom 1201, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
