Preparing for School
We encourage all students to plug in, turn on and log in to their school-issued iPad or laptop. This is one way to help students prepare for the first day of school. If the laptop or iPad does not turn on or students are unable to log in, they may visit the Student Tech Center for in-person support through Aug. 25. Technical support is available Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wilburton Instructional Service Center (building 6) located at 12241 Main St, Bellevue, WA 98005. Starting Aug. 26, students may get technical support from their Tech Specialist at their home school.
Devices for Returning Students (including Virtual Academy Students)
All students will have their own iPad (grades K-1) or laptop (grades 2-12). Most students kept their device over the summer and will continue to use them for the upcoming school year. Schools will issue new devices to returning students in grades 2, 6 and 9. Each school will develop deployment plans and provide specific details for their individual school community.

Devices for New Students (including Virtual Academy Students)
Students new to the District can expect to pick up their device from their home school during the last week of August or the beginning of September. iPads will be issued to Kindergarten students after they’ve had a chance to get acclimated to the new school setting. Each school will provide specific device deployment details that will work best for their individual school community.
Technology Responsible Use Pledge
Prior to the start of school, we encourage each family to have a discussion with their student(s) about the Technology Responsible Use Pledge. It is designed to promote positive use of technology, foster student ownership and reinforce good digital citizenship.
General Tech Support
All students have access to the Student How To Guides. Information will continue to be added and updated on the District website.
