Did You Really Wait 'Til the Last Minute? Check out this IRS Video for Guidance on Last Minute Tax Filing

This is the last weekend to get your taxes finished and filed. The deadline to file is Monday. If you've waited until the last minute, the IRS has some friendly and reassuring for you in the cheerful video linked to here.

The video says you can get an application for an automatic extension, or Form 4868, is to download it from the IRS website at http://www.irs.gov. You can also use the IRS's Free File providers to apply for the extension. But, as the spokeswoman in the video says, an extension of time to file, is not an extension of time to pay, so you still have to pay on April 18 if you owe.
