Eastside Volunteer Fair to Showcase Opportunities to Help Out, Find Help
The event will be Saturday, April 16th, 2010, from 11 am to 3 pm. at Crossroads Bellevue. There also will be musical and dance entertainment at this event.

Together Center will host its 14th annual Eastside Volunteer Fair on Saturday, April 16th, 2010, from 11 am to 3 pm. The Fair will be held at located at NE 8th & 156th Avenue NE in Bellevue. Forty agencies are expected to participate, including human services, housing, health, arts, education and community organizations.
The entertainment stage will feature a variety of local cultural entertainment, including Blackbird Pie, Pacific Islanders Dance Performers, Kim and Elena and Hawaiian, Maori & Tahitian Dance Performers. A Party Hopper for children’s entertainment is also planned.
The Eastside Volunteer Fair is designed to provide a "one-stop" opportunity for the community to identify volunteer opportunities in which they would like to participate and to learn about services offered throughout the Eastside.

Together Center, a regional nonprofit organization located in Redmond, is a national model for “one-stop” service and collaboration among health and human services agencies. “We create access to human services, so people can find help when they need it,” said Together Center Executive Director Pam Mauk. Eighteen agencies serving East King County are located on the Togther Center’s campus.
Over 60,000 East King County residents receive assistance each year from the agencies operating on the Center’s unique human services campus and other supports provided by Together Center.
