Youth Sports Spring Break Day Camps

Youth Pro Basketball Camp, ages 6-14 April 4- 8, 9 a.m. -3 p.m. at Newport High School

• Bellevue Parks & Community Services has partnered with i-Ball to offer Pro Basketball Camps for kids.  I-Ball is coached by professional basketball player and former Harlem Globetrotters All-Star, Kyle Keyes and other i-Ball staff.   Campers will play games and will learn a wide array of basketball skills, developing sportsmanship in a fun, supportive environment.  The main reason Keyes says he started i-Ball was to give kids something that he didn’t have, “a mentor on and off the court, guidance and a sense of purpose and direction for my goals and my life as a whole.”  To learn more about Keyes’ story go to   http://www.i-balllive.com.

UK International Soccer Camps, ages 4-13 April 4- 8, 9 a.m.-noon OR 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Robinswood Community Park

• UK soccer offers a unique experience for youth by providing soccer instruction by standout college and semi-pro players from the United Kingdom, Europe and South America from over 17 nations. Combining their international passion for soccer and cultural perspective, along with specialized training creates a very unique and dynamic camp program, which goes far beyond the soccer field. Daily schedule includes warm up, skills, fundamentals, small sided games, technical session, tournaments and awards.  A free parent and coach clinic is scheduled for the Saturday morning following the camp.

Spring Break Sports Camp, ages 7-12 April 4- 8, 8 a.m. -4 p.m. at Crossroads Community Center

• Sports of all sorts are offered during this week of fast-paced action where kids will have a blast!  Campers will receive instruction and participate in a variety of sports including basketball, dodge ball, indoor soccer and floor-hockey.  Outdoor activities will take place as weather allows.  Camp will include a field trip to a local recreational attraction (included in registration fee).  Sign up now to reserve your space in this action packed week of camp.
