2 Arrests Made In Fatal Shooting Investigation: Police
Two people — who were not identified as suspects — have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at an Everett Jack in the Box.

EVERETT, WA - Two people have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Everett early Sunday. However, neither individual has been identified as a suspect at this time, police said.
The shooting was reported just before 3:45 a.m. Feb. 17 from the parking lot of the Jack in the Box restaurant off Evergreen Way, by Fred Meyer.
At the scene, first responders found a male victim with a gunshot wound accompanied by a woman, who was reportedly present at the time of the shooting. Emergency personnel gave the man CPR but he was later pronounced dead.

When they contacted her, police said the woman had in her possession a purse that contained a gun, which she admitted to removing from the scene prior to officers' arrival.
Police arrested the woman on suspicion of tampering with evidence.

Police also arrested a man seen leaving the area when first responders arrived, noting him as a "person of interest."
A K9 team was used to track any potential suspects, but none were reportedly found. This case remains under investigation.
