Accident in Unincorporated Edmonds Leaves Woman in Critical Condition

A 54-year-old woman has been transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in unincorporated on 52nd Avenue West, just north of 148th Street Southwest.

According to Snohomish County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton, the driver of the passenger vehicle which struck the woman remained on the scene and cooperative with investigators.

The road at the scene of the accident is closed and will remain so for at least another hour while detectives investigate.
