Edmonds Councilman Strom Peterson Announces Re-Election Bid

Citizens, service organizations, and elected officials are adding their names in support of Edmonds City Councilman, Strom Peterson, as he announces his intention to run to retain his Council seat. This diverse group expresses confidence in Peterson's leadership, dedication to Edmonds, and knowledge of the current economic climate. Endorsers spoke highly of Peterson's record and service to Edmonds. “Strom has brought a wonderful spirit and creativity to the Council,” said State Representative Marko Liias, “Along with a commitment to doing the hard work it takes to get things done.” 

Peterson acknowledged the difficult economic challenges facing Edmonds. “Edmonds is facing tight budgets for years to come, but we are all committed to working together to promote Edmonds as a great place to live, visit and do business”, said Peterson.

Peterson expressed appreciation for the diverse support his campaign has gained. “Their confidence and trust means a lot to me. My only goal is to be a good public servant.”

Peterson will hold a campaign kick-off event in March and encourages the citizens of Edmonds to continue to reach out to him to communicate their goals and priorities for our town.
