Edmonds Schools Will Release Early Friday
Students will be dismissed from Edmonds School District facilities several hours early on Feb. 8 to give them enough time to get home.

EDMONDS, WA - Edmonds schools will end classes and programs several hours early on Friday to give students, staff, and faculty enough time to get home before the worst of the winter storm hits the area. Forecasts Friday morning called for the heaviest snowfall to occur after 3 p.m.
Each school will have its own early release time. That schedule can be found here.
Numerous schools throughout the region took the same preemptive steps late Thursday in announcing their plans for the storm. According to the National Weather Service, the region could get 5 inches of new snow before Sunday.
